Ciab Febraban will have, in 2008, a record of sponsors. So far, there are 14 companies – at the same time, in 2007, there were seven. Moreover, 62 stands were commercialized, for the 18th edition of the biggest bank event of Americas.
The sponsors were divided in three categories: Diamond (Itautec, Diebold Procomp, Oi, IBM, Perto, HP, and CPM Braxis), Gold (EMC, CA, Microsoft, CSC BRASIL, and DTS) and Silver (Mastercard, and CA). Serasa will be, one more time, co-sponsor.
The subject of the event will be Technology and Security. Ciab will take place on June 11-13, at Transamerica Expocenter, in São Paulo.
The previous editions registered an average of 1,5 thousand participants, 16 thousand visitors and 80 exhibiters. In 2007, congress had 27 foreign keynote speakers and 55 Brazilian lectures.
Beside the security issue, the event will debate other subjects, like the evolution of the payment systems, sustainability, the evolution of the Brazilian economy and marketing
